Leica Camera Asia Pacific is currently presenting ‘A
Way of Life: Photographs from the Leica Collection’
photography exhibition. This one-of-a-kind exhibition
showcases original prints from world-renowned and
award winning photographers, and is a world debut.
Located in the modern Opera
Wing of the country’s most
storied hotel, Angelina at the
Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi
is part restaurant, part lounge and
altogether one of the city’s most
urbane night spots.
Held in the Asian Civilisation Museum till December
31st, 23 original prints from the Leica Collection are on
display. Photographers include Henri Cartier-Bresson
who is the co founder of photo cooperative Magnum,
and who earned a reputation as the Godfather of photojournalism for his internationally recognised coverage
of India and China. Others include Constantine Manos,
René Burri and Klavdij Sluban, as well as Sebastiao
Salgado and Jane Evelyn Atwood, who are the winners
of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award.
