Cherry Garden
The typical Chinese Garden is meant to express harmony between man and nature, and
is also said to inspire creativity in the individual. In the instance of Cherry Garden at the
Mandarin Oriental Hotel, they have managed to create harmony between man and his
food. Creatively designed to look like a Chinese pagoda, the restaurant has plenty of
greenery to give it a natural feel, despite being located on the fifth floor of a hotel in the
ever-buzzing Raffles Avenue.
While many Chinese restaurants tend to feel
enclosed and crowded, Cherry Garden is well
structured and spacious therefore allowing it to
retain a level of its zen-like serenity, even during
