 1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoons confectioner’s sugar Weekendin 50 Method 1. In a shallow dish or hotel pan, combine the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. 5. While the French toast is cooking, combine the strawberries, 1 tablespoon sugar and lemon juice.
2. Heat griddle to 375o F (175oC). Use clarified butter on the surface. This eliminates the potential for the butter to burn.
 6. Transfer cooked toast to a warm plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar and spoon strawberries and juice over top.
 3. To order, dip the brioche bread into the egg batter, allow the bread to soak until saturated, about 30 seconds on each side.
 7. Serve with whipped butter and warm.
 4. Place bread on griddle and cook, flipping once, until golden brown and cooked through.
 8. Romantic tips: Use a heart-shaped ring to cut the brioche bread before cooking. Surprise your loved one with a stalk of rose too! 51 Weekendin
