(LG) today officially took the wraps off the LG G Flex, a smartphone curved
to follow the contour of the face, the first device to offer such a design in

the form of the display and battery that have never been seen before.
The LG G Flex also boasts new user experience (UX) features that take
advantage of the curved form factor.
The camera in Nexus 5 features LG Innotek’s acclaimed optical image stabiliser technology
which was first introduced in the LG G2. Mated to an 8MP camera with longer exposures,
less blur and less noise, Nexus 5 is unmatched in dim light performance. Nexus 5 also
includes Photo Sphere making it easy to capture a series of photos and turn them into
a seamless 360-degree experience. And Google can create Auto Awesome photos and
movies from the content in your library to share with friends and family. Moreover, the
improved HDR+ mode in Nexus 5 instantaneously captures a burst of shots and applies
computational photography to intelligently fuse these images together into one perfect
photo with a greater range of shadows and light culled from the multiple exposure and
colour data.
The vertically curved design of the LG G Flex reduces the distance
between one’s mouth to the microphone when the device is held
against the ear, as traditional telephone handsets used to. The LG G Flex
employs a curvature arc that is optimised for the average face, to deliver
improved voice and sound quality. The curved form increases the sound
level by 3dB compared to typical flat smartphones. The curved design
also offers a more reassuring grip and fits more comfortably in one’s back
pocket. What’s more, in landscape mode, the display offers an IMAX-like
experience, with the result being the most comfortable viewing angle for
watching videos or playing games.
