TREES OF HOPE

As part of The Peninsula Bangkok’s evocation of the Christmas spirit, the
hotel will invite guests to contribute to Trees of Hope, The Peninsula
Hotels’ campaign to support the Make-A-Wish® Foundation, an organisation that makes wishes come true for local children with life-threatening medical conditions. In step with other Peninsula Hotels worldwide, The Peninsula Bangkok will sell ornaments to be displayed on its
Christmas Tree, with all proceeds donated to the campaign. Guests can
purchase the ornaments at The Lobby and The Peninsula Boutique at
THB 250 per piece.
TEDDY BEAR AFTERNOON TEA
14 and 15 December 2013
The Peninsula Bangkok invites guests to bring their teddy bears to
the hotel for a Teddy Bear Afternoon Tea in The Lobby, where bears and
guests alike can soak up the wonderful seasonal atmosphere around
the hotel’s Christmas Tree. Diners can enjoy panoramic views of the
Chao Phraya River while sampling festive sweets, savoury pastries and
chocolates from the special Teddy Bear Afternoon Tea menu. For every
Afternoon Tea purchased, a donation will be made to UNICEF Thailand.
The teas will be held from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, dress is smart casual (for
bears and humans at THB 1,290 nett per person.

A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE

On Christmas Eve, The Peninsula Bangkok will abound with yuletide
spirit and seasonal traditions, including an assortment of tempting
menus created by our Executive Chef. At The Peninsula Lawn and River
Cafe & Terrace, a gala dinner buffet - with live music from a 12-piece
orchestra and contemporary Thai performances—will be served from
7:00 pm onwards. At Thiptara, there will be a six-course Thai set menu
in a traditional setting, with contemporary Thai dances. Both menus are
priced at THB 5,990 nett per person.
The Lobby Terrace will offer a six-course western set menu, accompanied by live performances from a 12-piece orchestra (THB 7,990 nett for
adults per person for food only, and THB 11,990 nett per person including unlimited soft drinks and selected wines).
The dress code is elegant casual throughout and there will be a special
appearance by Santa Claus at all venues.
CHRISTMAS AFTERNOON TEA
24 and 25 December 2013
In the Lobby, Christmas Afternoon Tea will be served to ease guests into
a holiday mood, complete with entertainment from a live jazz band and
a special appearance by Santa Claus. The Christmas Afternoon Tea will
be available from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm (THB 1,290 nett per person) and
the dress code is smart casual.

CHRISTMAS BUFFET BRUNCH
25 December 2013
Guests can savour a fabulous Christmas Day buffet brunch with their
family at the River Cafe & Terrace, served in a charming setting alongside the Chao Phraya River (THB 3,290 nett for adults and THB 1,645
nett for children aged from six to 12). The dress code is smart casual and
service is offered from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
NEW YEAR’S EVE AT THE PENINSULA BANGKOK

With a choice of gala dinners, dancing and live music, The Peninsula
Bangkok is a spectacular venue to welcome the New Year. Guests can
give the old year a thunderous send-off as they welcome 2014 with a
dazzling fireworks display above the majestic Chao Phraya River.

a fun-filled New Year’s Day Brunch. Guests can start the New Year in
style, dining on a wide selection of delectable cuisine, either al fresco
or indoors, while enjoying views of the Chao Phraya River. The brunch
runs from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm (THB 3,090 nett for adults and THB 1,545
nett for children aged from six to 12). The dress code is smart casual.
HAMPERS GALORE

The Peninsula Bangkok’s Festive Hampers are the perfect gift to give
this Christmas or New Year. Guests can customise the hampers with a
variety of à la carte, items with a delightful mix of holiday favourites and
