Maestro Yang Yang to play in Singapore

From 28th–30th November, the hottest artiste on the classical music planet
will be in Singapore to showcase his unparalleled skill. Acclaimed artiste
Lang Lang who has played at sold-out recitals and concerts in every
major city in the world and is the first Chinese pianist to be engaged by
the Vienna Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic and all the top American
orchestras, will be here to play at a gala concert performance on 28th
November at the Esplanade. On 30th November, he will present a muchawaited recital featuring three Mozart sonatas including the dramatic A
minor Sonata K.310, as well as Chopin’s Four Ballades.

have been adding an artistic twist
to them through the decorative
powers of over 70 artists. More than forty of such decorative but
practical fans are on display at the Wiracana Hand Fan Exhibition.
Wiracana fans have caught the attention of many, including the
Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who chose them as souvenirs for
their wedding guests. Held at One East Asia, visitors get to explore
the designs of these one of a kind fans, as well as learn about the
art of communicating with fans.
