Entrée choices included New York steak with peppercorn Armagnac sauce, sablefish with lemongrass champagne emulsion, or chicken breast with oyster mushroom and goat cheese filling. Banana chocolate cheesecake with fresh strawberries and Chantilly cream, wedding cake and cupcakes were served for desssert. “The food was fantastic and beautifully presented,” recalls Wendy. so this is love Entertainment for the evening was provided by LIVIN’ & DANCIN’ DJ SERVICES. “We chose songs that were special to us and had great meaning throughout our relationship. Our first dance song was ‘So This Is Love’ by Ilene Woods and Mike Douglas,” says Wendy. “My most favourite moment of our special day was our first dance as husband and wife. The couple had originally booked with another cake company but that supplier was unable to deliver due to the flooding. “Despite the change and stress surrounding the cake, it turned out beautifully!” The cake consisted of three round tiers covered in ivory fondant with two whimsical bluebirds pulling at the ribbon on the top tier of the cake.
