evening reception A grand evening reception took place at THE FAIRMONT WATERFRONT. Here too, cocktails were served in the foyer which was decorated with custom seating areas. Mirrored trays displayed the escort cards. The entrances to the ballroom were draped in luxurious, dark grey velvet. Upon arrival to the hotel, guests with children dropped off the littlest guests at an adjacent ballroom while the parents went to the evening performance and dinner. The children were supervised by hired nannies and enjoyed games, puzzles and dinner. They were also treated to a magic performance, face painting and balloon art.
