The walls were draped in white, and white paper lanterns in varying shapes and sizes were hung from the ceiling. after dinner cocktails & dance After the dinner, Christene and Philip led everyone upstairs to the Rooftop Pavilion at the gallery which Evan had completely transformed into a gorgeous lounge. Beautiful white flower arrangements and candles were spread around the room, with an uplit white bar ready to serve guests. A white dance floor and white draping polished off the space, and it looked completely transformed with Vancouver’s downtown skyline as the backdrop. AEROCAR SERVICE Philip says his favourite moment was receiving a surprise gift from Christene on the morning of their wedding. “I surprised him by doing a boudoir photo shoot with JENNIFER WILLIAMS BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY “The trend of supplying flip-flops for female guests to dance at the end of the evening, just didn’t fit our wedding (especially with my love of shoes),” says Christene. Instead, LIMBERS DANCEWEAR supplied black ballet flats in a range of sizes that were hanging in black satin bags beside the dance floor. The ballet flats were a perfect fit because SIDE ONE kept the guests on their feet all night long! “We still get comments about how great the band was.” and worked with her to create a beautiful custom art book. We exchanged our gifts before parting for the day, and it was a very emotional moment for us,” remembers Christene. “The feedback we received from our guests was that our wedding was incredibly romantic, that we had whisked them down a rabbit hole, that they couldn’t even begin to describe it to people that weren’t there, and that none of the attention to detail went unnoticed.”
