“When my husband and I sat under this whimsical canopy,
I felt like we were in a scene from A Midsummer’s Night
Dream. I remember looking up and thinking I was in a
fairytale land and had come upon this lush canopy, full of
red and pink orchids.” – charlotte
Guests danced the evening
away on the custom dance
floor conceptualized by
Shealyn Angus, for bliss
events, and produced and
installed by dance floor
décor. It featured a
show-stopping massive,
blooming, purple flower, its
petals mimicking the layered
skirt of Charlotte’s ines di
santo gown.
LASTING
MEMORIES
To kick the night into high gear, a seven-piece band
and DJ from st. royal entertainment performed
for the guests during dinner and for post-dinner
dancing. AV services were also provided by St. Royal
Entertainment. “Most brides say the day goes by in a
flash, but I can say with confidence that I can
remember each moment of that beautiful day vividly,”
says Charlotte.
The couple intends to celebrate their wedding with
a return to Barcelona, where their romance began,
but this time for their honeymoon.

five-tier wedding cake and
provided the cake stands. The cake
featured a hand-painted floral
design and bright red, cascading
sugar Dendrobium orchids. “We
wanted something dramatic, with
splashes of bold colours,” notes
Charlotte. Guests further indulged
in their sweet tooth by partaking in
the two red meringue towers and
blackcurrant lollipops, also
designed by Nadia.
