NOTES
A true family affair, Caroline’s grandmother created
the wedding cake, just as she had done for her other
grandchildren who have been married. To align with
the industrial, raw theme, she kept the buttercream
icing to a minimum to create a semi-naked cake filled
with sweet berries and a rich vanilla custard, finishing
it with white floral and gold leaves for a touch of glam.
A digital photo booth was provided by mango
studios as a bonus treat for guests. outside
in studios captured the day with cinematography
services. In lieu of favours, donations were made in
each guest’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society,
CAMH, and the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Monogram marquee letters were
provided by event graffiti.
The couple began their dream honeymoon in Hong
Kong before flying to Bali and then back to Hong Kong.
They bathed with elephants and played with
monkeys, and above all else experienced two new
cultures—together.
An 8-piece live band (including an
electric violinist) from sole power
productions played throughout the
reception until the DJ, also from Sole
Power Productions, took over.
The sweet table was
created by Christina Wong
of truffle cake & pastry.
It featured macaron
towers, donuts, miniature
cheesecakes, blueberry
tarts, and chocolate
covered pretzels, among
other delicacies.
Additional
mirrored table
rentals were
provided by

rentals inc.
