ichelle ursini and luca corrente were 17 years old when they
first met through mutual friends. they both frequented the same
social circle and after a year of friendship, they became a couple.
On Valentine’s Day weekend in 2014, the couple had planned a trip to Blue Mountain
for one of their usual snowboarding excursions. Luca feigned getting lost on the
way and instead of driving to Blue Mountain, he whisked Michelle off to a secluded
bed and breakfast. Once they arrived, the couple was greeted with a seemingly
spontaneous sleigh ride—the first in a series of surprises that culminated in a
romantic lunch. Halfway through the meal, Luca presented Michelle with a Kinder
Surprise egg, Michelle’s favourite chocolate. Although she intended to save it for
later, Luca insisted that she open it. Inside she discovered a stunning engagement
ring with which Luca proposed.

designed all of the flowers for the wedding and created the bride’s lush bouquet of
white O’Hara, spray, and blush coloured roses. “It was soft and romantic, exactly
how I wanted,” shares Michelle.
Michelle and Luca wed on September 26, 2015, at saint clare of assisi church
in a traditional Catholic ceremony.
