The bride’s love of bold colours and bohemian floral
displays inspired the design of the couple’s grand reception.
countdown events planning & design transformed the
hotel’s ballroom into a stylish garden oasis for the
celebration, working alongside celsia floral.
The room was draped in black fabric by upright decor.
Round guest tables were covered with shiny blue linens
and topped with garden-inspired centrepieces with
flowers arranged in a loose, natural style.

The couple’s sweetheart table was
positioned on a stage and draped with
colourful flowers, greenery, and candles.
Adding to the romantic garden theme,
a gorgeous swing-inspired floral display
was placed above the newlyweds.

Place settings featured gold leaf charger plates from
éclat decor inc. paired with navy blue napkins and
custom menus from flourish by colleen winton with
the floral pattern echoed throughout the event.

The floral displays were placed on tall gold stands for a
whimsical, tree-like appearance.

Stephanie describes the decor as “dark,
bold, and moody with a ton of romance
sprinkled throughout.”
