The couple were married on March 29, 2015 at the four seasons hotel, vancouver. Soha Lavin of countdown events planning & design was commissioned to provide event design and full-service planning for the “elegantly eclectic” celebration. “We wanted the evening to feel very classy and elegant, but also incorporate playful elements,” says Stephanie. “We came in with a vision and Soha was able to not only make it come to life but take it to the next level.” flourish by colleen winton created the custom invitation and day-of stationery, featuring a lush floral pattern and personalized monogram. The floral pattern was derived from a painting by artist Marie Burke and incorporated throughout the wedding decor. Stephanie wore a mermaid-style gown designed by Augusta Jones, purchased at bisou bridal. The gown was customized with subtle tulle straps. Bridesmaids were dressed in Monique Lhuillier gowns from bisou bridal. Glenn wore a bespoke midnight blue and black tuxedo from the tux store. Stephanie and Glenn’s traditional Jewish ceremony was hosted in the Le Pavillon ballroom at the four seasons hotel, vancouver. The ceremony was jointly officiated by Rabbi Baitelman and Rabbi Rosenblatt. “We had two rabbis officiating – one from my family’s synagogue and one from Glenn’s synagogue,” shares Stephanie. “Leading up to the wedding day, the rabbis gathered information from our family members, as well as Glenn and myself about us as a couple; the rabbis used this information to share a little personal speech during the ceremony. It was really moving and a really special touch.” A string trio and pianist from musical occasions played throughout. The musicians learned two songs; “This Year’s Love” by David Gray and Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours” especially for the wedding ceremony. www.wedl u xe.com 85
