bottles were placed at
each table and featured
sweet poems by the
bride’s father that spoke
to the couple’s history.
“My dad, who is famous
for his poems, wrote ‘the
vintage that is Alana and
Andrew’,” notes Alana.
The couple's day-of
stationery was
personalized with a
custom monogram
(AOA), designed by
Alexandra DaPonte
(graphic designer at
oliver & bonacini
restaurants).
GARDEN
OASIS
jackie o transformed the modern “loft-like” venue into an enchanted night-garden oasis for the reception.
Over five-hundred twinkling candles in glass containers hung from the ceiling. Square restaurant-style dining
tables were set up in the space and covered with shimmery, black linens from chair-man mills. Guest tables
featured low floral centrepieces in mirrored vases and floating candles in crystal holders. Chic menus sat atop
gold charger plates from exclusive affair rentals (part of the event rental group).
A wow-inducing “floral ceiling” was placed above the head table. The installation included lush greenery and
blooms in vivid hues of purple and pink. “There were flowers everywhere. Todd at Jackie O was amazing and
ensured that my vision came to life, including my very specific colour palette,” says Alana. The wall behind
the couple’s chairs was filled with rows of gently glowing candles to further enhance the romantic ambience.
