Alana wore a sleek, backless Pnina Tornai gown with crystal embellishments
from kleinfeld new york. A bridal consultant from kleinfeld hudson’s bay
accompanied Alana to New York to help her select her dress and managed all of
the alternations back in Toronto at the Queen and Bay location which had just
opened its doors. “The team at Kleinfeld Hudson’s Bay were absolutely lovely to
work with. They took such great care of me from start to finish, and my dress
was tailored to fit me perfectly,” Alana shares.
INTIMATE
CEREMONY
The couple’s ceremony took place in the middle of
arcadian loft—a venue which features floor to
ceiling windows overseeing a glittering cityscape and
the stunning architecture of Old City Hall. The
entrance of the room was draped in white fabric and
decorated with two tall pillars covered in flowers.
Mirrored pedestals lined the aisle and were topped
with pillar candles that gave the room a romantic glow.
Alana and Andrew exchanged rings (custom-designed
by the groom himself ), and recited their vows in front
of a beautiful floral backdrop made of four, 8ft tall
panels covered with bright blooms and greenery. Dr.
Peter Jensen, a family friend of the couple, officiated
the ceremony and a keys player from sole power
productions performed throughout. “We were both
a lot less nervous than we expected and truly enjoyed
the moment,” remembers Alana.
Andrew is pictured here with his father, Peter
Oliver, one of the founding partners of Oliver
& Bonacini restaurants.
