Detailed, Customized Packages While some suppliers offer ‘all-in’ packages, Events Block believe that there are no complete wedding packages. Inclusions in every package vary depending on the client’s taste and needs. Given this belief, Events Block has categorized and customized their packages. For example, a wedding catering has four (4) major parts: 1. Food: a. Banquet buffet menu b. International Fusion Cuisine 2. Set-up and Service a. Basic Theme décor in color motif b. Lighted buffet set-up c. Stage and Backdrop set-up with couples couch d. Tiffany chairs or foldable chairs with ribbon e. Guest Table set-up with floor length linen and fresh flower centerpiece f. Presidential table g. Dressed registration and gift table h. Uplights cake table 3. Program a. Sounds and lights b. Lights accent set-up c. Professional Program host d. DJ and music sequencing 4. Traditional a. Sparkling wine b. Three (3) layered fondant cake or cupcakes with top cakes Quality and Quantity Among these four parts, food plays a big role in every celebration. Yes, quality and taste of food is a priority but the quantity of servings should also be a major concern. Why? Couples wouldn’t want their guests to become frustrated and look for other food hubs after the wedding just because they’re still hungry. With Events Block, this won’t be a problem because they follow a maximum budget grammage which is 450 grams per pax. “We at Events Block are obliged to satisfy the guests taste buds and see to it that everyone is full because we believe that the fulfillment of a caterer is that your guest will remember you for your food and the other services will follow,” shares Bodoy with Weddings Tagaytay Magazine. Passionate, Responsible Team Events Block’s key in making every event a memorable one lies in their internal basic principle - team cohesiveness. Their team is divided into five departments: (1) Sales and Event Manager, who takes note and arrange all client details and requirements; (2) Operations Manager, who’s responsible in delegating work assignments to F&B supervisors and scheduling manpower needs, logistics, equipment and materials needed; (3) Admin Manager, who handles all purchasing requirements and responsible for payment and reservations pf arranged equipment, venues and other suppliers; (4) Chef, who’s responsible for the food’s quality, freshness and the standard grammages to be served during the event; and, (5) Managing Partner, whom oversees the event. This organizational cohesiveness allows Events Block to deliver what the client wants and need. One of most memorable weddings they handled was Enriquez-Son wedding wherein timetable of planning and execution for the whole wedding is only two (2) months. Despite the challenges of providing everything -- Church, reception, gown and tuxedo fittings, pre-wedding preparations, accommodation and after party considering that all their relatives will all be coming from Cebu and Quezon province -- Events Block had made the event a success.
