What inspired you to become a bridal designer?

How would you describe the typical Enzoani bride?

Q&A with Enzoani's Kang Chun Lin

The bridal designer tells all about picking the perfect wedding dress for your big day...

Meet Kang Chun Lin, the London College of Fashion graduate who designed and developed wedding dress brand Enzoani.

Additionally, he has since pioneered the creations for Blue by Enzoani, Love by Enzoani, Love Shoes and oversees Love 16 by Enzoani. Through his vision, the label has gained attention for use of its luxurious fabrics, exquisite beadwork and unmatched construction techniques.

Here, he answers your wedding dress questions and tells all about choosing the perfect gown for your wedding day.

I knew at a young age I wanted to design and was fortunate to be given the opportunity to pursue an education in it. Many people and things along the way have inspired me. I actually have a business background but I’ve always been interested in design. I learned by myself through books and then I completely redesigned my mom’s wardrobe. From there, I knew that this is what I wanted to do and went to the London School of Design and started all over. Forget business, I wanted to make dresses!

The typical Enzoani bride is fashion-forward and looking for that ‘double-take’ statement look in order to make a lasting impression. The Enzoani bride is definitely confident. When a customer asks me, “What kind of girl should wear this or that,” I respond: “As long as you put on a dress and look in the mirror and have a smile on your face, that’s it!” Don’t limit yourself, just try on. You will see your face and know what you love and don’t love.
