Dolly Blue Bridal Studios is an awardwinning company established in 2013 , which offers contemporary bridal collections by leading innovative designers as well as a choice of modern bridal separates , for you to mix n match to create your very own dream wedding dress . No frump or frills , just classic , modern , fashion forward gowns and accessories all chosen with today ' s discerning bride in mind .
Located at 19 College Hill , DBHQ is spread out over 4 floors and overlooks beautiful Old St Chads . There is a reception area on the ground floor that ' s fresh and modern , with accessories , veils and shoes to buy ' off the peg '. The luxury Bridal gown Studio is located on the first floor , light and airy , plush carpets , comfortable couches , and rows of beautiful dresses you are your guests will be made to feel welcome and extra special .
Owned and run by Adele Nortcliffe a highly qualified Bridal designer and couture seamstress who has over 25 years experience in the industry . Her sewing studio is on the top floor so she is always on hand for guidance and advice on design and fit , she personally oversees all fittings and alters the gowns herself making sure every aspect of the gown fits each individual bride perfectly , ensuring the bride will look and feel beautiful on her wedding day .
Not a fluffy meringue or pre-loved in sight . Adele says , " In this world of , ' stack em high sell em cheap ', there will always be Brides who require a more personal bespoke service . Who understand it ' s not just about buying a dress , that the standard of aftercare , fittings and alterations are of paramount importance when it ' s the most special dress she will ever buy and wear .
It ' s a magical time in a ' Brides to be ' life , choosing your wedding dress and how you are treated should reflect the importance of such a momentous decision . From the moment you book your bridal appointment to the day you collect your bridal gown , you should be made to feel like the only bride in the world . Therefore our Bridal Gown Studio is strictly by appointment only and exclusively one to one . No hustle , no bustle , and no other brides sharing your spotlight .

Adele says , " My best advice is to do your research before you book an appointment with any wedding supplier , read their reviews , look at their webpage , FB , Instagram , and Pinterest pages , trust your instincts if it sounds ' too good to be true ' or an ' absolute bargain ' there will always be a catch .
As far as Bridal Appointments are concerned , it is most important just to take a couple of trusted people with you to your appointment . We are not being mean or party poopers but in our experience too many opinions can be very confusing and sometimes upsetting , especially if they are not ' on board ' with your bridal vision . You may be dreaming of a beautiful classic satin column gown while your friends all want you in a cloud of lace and tulle .
