� Book photographer and / or videographer.
� Book florist.
� Book DJ or Band.
� Decide if you would like to have a bridal registry or a wishing well, and research bridal registry options.
� Purchase your dress and record the deposit in your budget planner.
� Research cake artists.
� Research stationery supplier. Decide on a theme that reflects the style of your wedding.
Tip: If you would like to make your own invitations research cost and take into consideration how much time it will take you to make the invitations, wishing well cards, RSVP cards, additional information inserts, and thank you notes. It may be more beneficial and cost affective to have someone make them for you.
� Research make-up artists and hair dressers.
� Go over music list from DJ / Band and start thinking about your song choices for the ceremony, reception and first dance. Keep your choices in line with your theme / style of wedding.
� Research Honeymoon locations.
� Research caterers if they are not included in your venue.
6-5 months …
� Get together with your bridesmaids and go dress shopping.
� Book hair & make-up trials. Record the deposits paid in your budget planner.
Tips: Include manicures, facials, waxing, fake tan and hair conditioning treatments, if you haven’ t already started these treatments. Do not leave these to the final month before the wedding. If anything goes askew you have time to correct the problem or find another supplier.
� Organise suit fittings for the Groom and Groomsmen. Record the deposits in your budget planner.
� Book the accommodation for your wedding night. Make sure it’ s the bridal suite!
