Dream Videos with WISHBONE

Although a fairly young company, the proprietors of this photo
and video business have long been honing their respective
skills. Jonathan has a decade under his belt for wedding
photography, while Rea has been engaged in scriptwriting and
directing Independent Films, even being a finalist in the famed
Metro Manila Film Festival.
“We were in a prenup session and the photographer arrived
asking who is the bride. I was wondering why he didn’t know
who,”says Rea,
They were determined to go deeper. Not to just offer their
services, but to also foster a sense of camaraderie. So they
give first-hand assistance, do the marketing and shooting
themselves, and make sure they deliver. While he takes care
of the technical aspect, she handles the creative side. Together,
they grant your wish.

From Documentary to SDF and Prenup
Video-in-One

“Filipinos are romantics,” she says. To this she attributes
why Filipinos are also creative, especially in their prenup and
wedding.
Once upon a time, wedding videos are really are just recordings,
a freebie in photography. Now, wedding videography is in a
whole new stage. “Before Same-Day Edits are the new thing,
a bit uncommon, now it’s the norm. In our package, SDE is
certainly included, but what else? We realized we should be
focusing on something more. We should be focusing on the
love story,” explains Jonathan.
They call it Cinematic Pre-wedding. They study the couple’s
story in depth to retell the story justly through film. Unlike
an SDE that is shown near the end since it’s edited just after
the ceremony, a Cinematic Pre-wedding video gets ample
development time. It has a storyboard. A combined SDE and
Engagement Video, it is not just a rehash of the ceremony, it
is the story.
