Star Bridal Outlet is a new discounted outlet who frequently have a collection of dresses in "sale for up to 60% off". Also some of the styles of dresses are similar. This could mean that customers will purchase from them instead of Wed2e. On the other hand, the whole point of a buisness is for it to notice it's target competitors, therefore new entrants should'nt be a big matter.

Customers have power over Wed2be because without them they wouldn't be making profit, therefore would bring down the buisness. Customers may choose to go to a more well known store such as Marks & Spencers. Yet there are other aspects that put Wed2be at higher risk of rivalry.

As it is the suppliers who decide what merchandise goes in what store, they are the highest risk to why a store may not be successful. A supplier may decide to put all of the dresses that sell badly in the Bromley store and give the new collections to the other stores. This would mean that the Bromley branch wouldn't make as much money.

SUPPLIERS

Brands that sell similar stock to Wed2be such as M&S are a big threat to the company as they also sell bridesmaid dresses for a cheaper price. They also contain a wider range of styles compared to Wed2be. Especially as the Bromley Wed2be store is only a 5 minute walk from it's local Marks and Spencer.
