REAL WEDDING
Colour Scheme: Peach & White Vibe: Romantic & Relaxed
Reham and Joshua chose their venue for its stunning backdrop- capture the essence of their wedding by making the most of your venue’ s outdoor space.
‘ We found the venue of our dreams and everything fell into place’
We started by shopping around venues and when we found the venue of our dreams everything fell into place- the rest of the planning was straight forward. We saw three venues in person although we must have looked at more than 50 online.
The Orangery’ s stunning scenery was what sealed the deal for us. A ceremony with a backdrop of the lake was certainly the romantic vibe we wanted.
‘ My boys walking me down the aisle was so special’
The ceremony was the best part of the day for us. Leading up to it there were lots of special moments too- my sons walking in for the dress reveal, my boys walking me down the aisle and our youngest son being our ring bearer.
‘ The first dress I saw was‘ the one’
The dress I chose was actually the first dress I saw when I went shopping for dresses. I had alterations done so that I could have it exactly how I wanted it, but as soon as I saw it I knew it would be‘ the one’.
The bridesmaids had rose pink dresses to fit our colour scheme and the men were in black tuxedos.
‘ We wanted to capture the breathtaking grounds’
David King was our photographer. We looked at at least 10 photographers before finding David, his photos were the best and he was so friendly and easygoing. For us, it was just as important to have a good experience with the photographer as it was to get good photos. Our favourite photo from the day is the shot on the bridge above the waterfalls. We also really wanted drone shots capturing the grounds of the venue as they were truly breathtaking.
