The Glasshouse hosts a wedding dress exhibition to remember
The Glasshouse held a wedding dress exhibition – The Glasshouse Archive: A Celebration of Love and Memories – bringing together couples, families, staff and suppliers to showcase the the love stories behind each dress.
As well as reliving the meaningful moments behind each dress, the eight couples who attended enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea, while live music from Paul Malsom set the tone with a relaxed, uplifting soundtrack that carried through the day.
“ It was particularly touching to see some returning brides now expecting, a beautiful reminder of how life continues to grow beyond the wedding day itself” say The Glasshouse team.
“ Seeing these familiar faces back at The Glasshouse, reconnecting with their gowns and reliving such meaningful moments, created a warm and nostalgic atmosphere throughout the afternoon.”

Two couples win life-changing dream weddings
Two Kent couples have been announced as the winners of Glow Events’‘ Win a Wedding’ competition, each receiving a fully funded wedding at two of the county’ s most soughtafter venues- Bilsington Priory and The Gardens.
Nicola and James are set to tie the knot this summer at Bilsington Priory, more than two decades after they first met. Their journey to the aisle has not been without its challenges, after their original wedding venue fell into administration and family health circumstances brought their plans to a pause. Now, with their wedding just weeks away, this win offers not only a sense of renewed joy but the chance to finally embark on the dream honeymoon they once had to set aside.
Katey and James will celebrate a very different but equally meaningful story at The Gardens next winter. After reconnecting following the pandemic, their love story soon blossomed, leading to a Christmas Eve engagement. Their upcoming wedding will not only unite them in marriage, but also formally bring together their blended family and see Katey’ s 92-yearold grandmother take part as a flower girl- a touching tribute to the people who have supported them along the way.
Commenting on the deserved winners, Emmet Hannan, Director of Glow Events, said:“ We are absolutely delighted for both couples. Hearing their stories and seeing their reactions was incredibly moving.
These are two very deserving winners, and it’ s a privilege to help bring their weddings at Bilsington Priory and The Gardens to life.”
