And now, entries are officially open for the 2027 awards, giving talented wedding professionals across the region the chance to showcase their professionalism, passion, service and dedication.
With submissions open until September 2026, the awards celebrate the extraordinary talent behind Kent’ s weddings – from photographers capturing unforgettable moments to venues creating magical backdrops, caterers and chef teams delivering memorable feasts to hair and beauty experts and dress and suit retailers ensuring couples look and feel their absolute best.
The awards culminates in a glittering Gala Night in January 2027, where the county’ s wedding community gathers to celebrate their hard work and crown the latest winners.
New for 2027
This year sees the introduction of several exciting new categories that reflect the evolving nature of the wedding industry.
The Venues: Something New Award will celebrate venues that have recently opened, undergone refurbishment or come under new management – shining a spotlight on fresh and inspiring spaces for Kent couples to discover.
Fashion professionals will be delighted by the addition of Wedding Seamstress / Tailor / Atelier of the Year, which recognises the craftsman / womanship behind beautifully fitted gowns and suits.
The brand-new Wedding Inclusivity Award acknowledges businesses championing accessibility, diversity and representation within weddings – ensuring every couple feels celebrated. While the Cultural Wedding Award recognises venues and suppliers who make large scale dream cultural celebrations a reality in Kent.
As social media and storytelling continue to shape modern weddings, the new Wedding Content Creator of the Year category recognises the creatives capturing behind-thescenes magic in real time.
The awards will also recognise Wedding Coordinators in a standalone category, allowing venues to nominate an in-house coordinator or standalone coordinators to self-nominate.
And for the first time, the industry itself will vote for the coveted Supplier’ s Choice Award, celebrating professionals or businesses that have earned the admiration and respect of their peers.
Celebrating the Best of Kent Weddings
Alongside these new additions, the awards will see the return of much-loved categories across beauty, hair, photography, videography, entertainment, retail, catering and venues, too, as well as the ever-popular Couple’ s Choice Award, for which Kent newly-wed couples can nominate their favourite wedding supplier.
