Sam and Livy’ s big day had a fun, rustic feel with plenty of romance thrown in.
‘ We fell in love with the venue the minute we saw it’
We fell in love with The Gardens, Yalding the minute we walked in. It was exactly what we were looking for – an outside inside feel. It really did feel magical. We didn’ t view any other venues after seeing it, we booked it straight away!
‘ I was so in love with my dress, but I wish I’ d had two!’
My dress was found at the most beautiful boutique that I would recommend to anyone- Isabella Grace in Tunbridge Wells. The lady helping me was amazing and I tried on 15 dresses in one appointment. But when I put mine on, I knew instantly that it was‘ the one’. I didn’ t think I’ d want a second dress because I was so in love with mine, but looking back I wish I’ d had an evening dress too. I got so hot with dancing the night away!
‘ A gin van was a must according to the Mother of the Bride!’
We had a gin van, which was a must according to the mother of the bride! For our evening food we had pizza and wedges, and we also added a few little touches like packaged cookies for the evening and every guest received a free drinks voucher courtesy of the father of the bride.
‘ We worried about the weather but we didn’ t need to’
We were worried about the weather ahead of the wedding. It rained in the morning and our ceremony and cocktail hour were outside. However it held off raining again until the evening where we were indoors anyway, so it didn’ t matter!
