INSPIRATION

Extended celebrations are on the rise

Recent statistics suggest that the popularity of multi-day weddings has risen by 30 %.
Teamed with the fact that last year around onethird of Gen Z and Millennial couples in the UK and Ireland were planning weddings that lasted more than a single day, it’ s safe to say that the focus is no longer on having the best day of your life; it might just be the best weekend or week, instead.

Investing in time

At the heart of the multi-day wedding is one simple idea: time.
Couples are investing months( sometimes years) into planning their big day, yet it can pass in a joyful blur of speeches, hugs and dancing. Stretching celebrations across a weekend – or even longer – creates space to properly connect with guests, especially those travelling from afar.
Rather than racing from table to table during dinner, couples can enjoy relaxed conversations over welcome drinks, shared walks the morning after, or casual lunches where everyone finally exhales.
It transforms a wedding from an event into an experience.
