ADVICE
Inviting kids? Here’ s how to make it stress-free for you, them and the parents
1. Provide activities
Weddings are long days, especially for kids. Putting together a little kit of colouring supplies, stickers and games can be a great way to keep them occupied when there’ s long periods of sitting, like during the meal and speeches.
2. Consider childcare
If you’ ve got lots of kids coming to your wedding, you could put some professional childcare in place. Hiring nannies to watch the kids means they’ ll be entertained, the parents can relax and you’ ll always know where the children are during the wedding( rather than worrying that they’ ve wandered off into the maze … which can happen!).
3. Stock up on snacks
A couple of canapes probably won’ t fill hungry tummies, so snack packs for the kids is a good idea to keep them going until it’ s time for their meal. They’ ll help avoid meltdowns
