The hands ofthe clock hanging at the Principal’s office of the public high school of Ḷḷuarcaare set at the following times: a) 2:24 h b) 5:43 h c) 13:55 h In groups of three or four students calculate the angle between the two hands of the clock. In case the students cannot find the solution by themselves and to keep them focused on the activity the following hints can be provided (one by one): (1) Draw the clock in the whiteboard to make sure they understand the problem. (2) A circle has 360 degrees. (3) The important point is not the time, but the minutes. (4) You must relate 360 degrees with the minutes in an hour.
