ORIGAMI IS COMING… HOW TO DO A TRUNCATED DODECAHEDRON Things you need: � � � Two colours of paper (80g)� � Scissors� � Ruler� Directions: 1 � � � Draw on a sheet of paper a pattern of some equal equilateral triangles of sides of at least 6 cm.� � Cut the triangles with caution. They should be exactly equal to make a perfect geometric shape.� � You will work with two different colours of paper. Take the triangles and fold them all sharply along their three axes of symmetry. Later, unfold them all. Can you see the lines of symmetry? You should see something like picture 2.� 2 3 � Now, it’s time to convert the triangle into a 3D-figure.
