ACTIVITIES ABOUT THE SCIENCE LAB. Activity for 12 to 13 year-old-students. The students will make a “PICTIONARY” of the items that are found in a science laboratory. The Poster: ‣ It will be made on an A2 size cardboard. ‣ The images representing the items can be drawn and coloured by hand or they can also be images of magazine, etc. ‣ There must be at least 20 items with a label with their name in English. Procedure. ‣ The students will work in groups of 3 or 4. ‣ Each student will provide with the same number of printed or self-made images and their labels. ‣ The group will decide which images are going to be used for the poster. The poster must include images provided by each and all the members of the group. ‣ All the students in the group will work together in order to make the poster. Activity for 13 to 14 year-old-students. The students will make a poster depicting a science laboratory with its different sections and materials. The Poster: ‣ It will be made on an A2 size cardboard. ‣ The images representing the items can be drawn and coloured by hand or they can also be images of magazine, etc. ‣ There must be at least 20 items with a label with their name in English and the place where they are normally found. Procedure. ‣ The students will work in groups of 3 or 4. ‣ Each student will provide with the same number of printed or self-made images and their labels. ‣ The group will decide which images are going to be used for the poster. The poster must include images provided by each and all the members of the group. ‣ All the students in the group will work together in order to make the poster. They will draw a laboratory and they’ll place all the items where they belong. They can also draw some scientists.
