OBITUARIES
BRYN - Rebekah
Dear Border Collie Trust ,
In October 2020 my husband and Mum in law drove down to you and adopted Bryn and Meg who were both 10 years old at the time .
I emailed in January with an update as they had both just turned 14 years old and were doing well . Unfortunately , not long after that email Bryn quickly deteriorated with his health . In short , he became weak and frail quite quickly as old age caught up with him .
On Friday 26th April Bryn sadly had to be put to sleep . He was a super dog with a love of life and energy in leaps and bounds . He would bark at bikes , chase squirrels and loved meeting other dogs and people out on walks .
We were unsure how Meg would be without Bryn . On the first evening she slept on his bed with her paw around Bryn ’ s favourite teddy - his rabbit . But she seems happy , she ’ s enjoying her walks and wags her tail when she sees the special humans in her life .
We do hope other people would consider adopting an older dog .
It really is rewarding and it ’ s been en a pleasure to bond with and care for Bryn and Meg . We will miss Bryn and his funny ways but we thank you for giving us the opportunityty to look after him and Meg .
Kind Regards ,
Rebekah
