POEM - Dedicated to rescue collies everywhere
In fields of green where shadows play , A heart once lost found its way . A Border Collie , eyes so bright , Rescued from the endless night .
With fur as black as midnight sky , And white as clouds that drift on high , He wandered lonely , lost in fears , In silence borne of whispered tears .
But fate was kind and hearts were true , A gentle hand , a love that grew . From chains unseen , he was set free , To dance in joy and boundless glee .
His spirit soared , his eyes did gleam , A life reborn from fractured dream . No longer just a soul adrift , He found in love the greatest gift .
He runs through meadows , wild and free , Chasing winds , embracing glee . A loyal friend , a steadfast guide , With love and trust now by his side .
In every leap , in every bound , A tale of rescue can be found . For once a heart was lost and cold , Now warmed by love and tales untold .
So here ' s to you , brave and kind , A rescued soul , a love defined . In every bark , in every sigh , A bond that ' s forged will never die .
