Allison Thompson , South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust .
Allison has been the trust ’ s vice chair since its inception in 2019 , having played an integral part in its formation through the merger of South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust and City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust .
Her work with the NHS began ten years ago in 2012 , when she was appointed as a non-executive director of the former South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust .
In her role as chair of the board , Allison ' s focus will be on making sure staff , patients and local people in South Tyneside and Sunderland have a strong voice in the development of services .

Naomi joins the council team from Sunderland Software City , where she worked for almost eight years as head of innovation for the most part .
Here , Naomi found her passion for supporting tech startups and SMEs across the region to realise their potential through innovative , digital solutions .
She also quickly recognised technology ’ s potential to change lives on an individual level – drawing inspiration from its ability to boost confidence , increase independence and connect people .

DEMI BLUE HANRATTY , RONDEAN Machine refurbishing experts Rondean have appointed a new marketing assistant to support its growth .
Demi Blue Hanratty takes up the new position of admin and marketing assistant at Rondean , with a focus to enhance and expand its social media activities .
The part-time role was created in response to continued business growth .
Rondean , which is based on the Drum Industrial Estate in Chester-le-Street , sells refurbished machine tools to engineering , sheet metal and woodworking companies with a specific focus on machinery designed and built in the UK .
Demi spent three years managing social media activities for Body Shop at Home as a consultant .
As well as operating Twitter and Instagram , she specialises in using Facebook to deliver revenue by using engaging content and smart advertising techniques .
She will manage the company ’ s social media accounts to increase awareness and online interactions .
Rondean moved into a 3,000 square foot unit based on the Drum Industrial Estate in 2017 . The firm has built a strong reputation for its machinery refurbishing services since 1984 .
