lian heritage. This is the first time that NOIAW
has collaborated with the Conference of Presidents on a trip to Italy. The goal is to bring Italian Americans in closer contact with the culture
of their ancestors and reconnect with Italy’s rich
legacy of creativity in science, technology and
innovation.
The ten-day trip is packed with unique Italian
experiences beyond the Expo, including tours
of some of Piemonte's most beautiful Medieval villages; visits to a traditional rice producer
and vineyard; a meeting with the Zegna family
of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group; and a private
tour of Lake Como and Bellagio. In Sordevolo, a
small town in Piemonte, the group will witness a
historic production of the Passion of the Christ,
put on by the villagers every five years. Travellers will enjoy accomodations at four-star hotels
in Como and Biella (in Piemonte) and private
transportation to all activities.
Limited spaces on the trip are still available.
