EDITORIAL #50:
What’s up with WTI
H
i first of all I want to wish
all of you a wonderful, happy,
Italian 2015! It seems yesterday when, with big temerity,
we started our online magazine: indeed, it was October 13,
2013. In these months we’ve
told you about Italian art, cine-

ma, cuisine, culture and history,
design, fashion, flavors, good
news, handcrafts, land and nature, language, lifestyle, politics,
religious events, sport, traditions,
wine and about our great Italians
of the past, plus our IT and US
column about whatever is intere-
less hours in researching, contacting, collecting, correcting,
editing, translating, publishing
and promoting the contents;
above all, an incredible excitement, surprise and pride in getting to know how much beauty,
excellence and awesomeness
Italy and the Italians have given
and give to the world. No other
country has this amount of wonderful things to be proud of.
We want to thank every author
who has written something for
us: but they’re too many to mention all of them. Please, browse
our author’s page here, and see
how many wonderful friends
have helped us get here where
we are. To celebrate them, all
our readers and our beautiful
Italy, we decided to extract one
article - the one you read most
in 2014 - for every one of our
main columns, and promote all
of them together in a special
part of this issue of our magazi-
ne: it is something that we will
do at the end of every year, a
greatest hits decided by you.
Our “We the Italians” Oscar, if
you allow us.
2015 will hopefully see a lot of
big exciting news for We the
Italians. We have big ideas, we
have a wonderful audience, we
have a dream: to give our small
contribute to help the Italian
American community to know
more about Italy, and vice versa. We truly have two flags and
one heart, as well as many if not
all of you. So, this is our way to
say thanks to Italy, to the United
States, to the Italian Americans
and to the Italians born in Italy
and recently emigrated to the
US. Happy 2015!
That’s all for now. So stay tuned,
fasten your seat belt and enjoy
the ride. The future’s so bright,
we gotta wear shades!

and the US. Now, after more
than 500 articles, we are celebrating our 50th number.
That’s huge!
It has been a massive but
rewarding enterprise: several
friends met on the way, end-
