Laid down on the slopes of Mount Ingino, overlooking the medieval Umbrian town, the tree is made up of various types of lighting to create a very special and unique color effect. More than 250 green light points outline the shape of a Christmas tree more than 650 meters (710 yards) high, with the central body littered with more than 300 multicolored lights and on top a star of about 1,000 square meters (10.763 square feet) designed by over 200 points of light. 48 trad 2It is a project that in 1991 entered in the Guinness Book of World Records; it remains lit throughout the Christmas period and it is dismantled after the Epiphany (January 6).
