I am a new AERC member and the proud and smitten owner of an 8-year old Arabian mare, Dreamlifter.
What initially piqued my interest in endurance riding was the fact that the sport provides a great opportunity to use the Arabian horse in a recreational performance context and meet other Arabian horse lovers. Up until that point, I had run into some of the stigma that surrounded the Arabian breed but I was excited to have discovered a discipline that fully embraces all the Arabian has to offer.
