COMPETITIVE EVENTS

In addition to a variety of clinics provided on the subjects of mounted archery, working equitation and obstacles, competitions were held on Saturday and Sunday with Equine Trail Sports (ETS) and the American Horsemen Challenge Association (AHCA). A large variety of obstacles were presented to participants with ETS competitions being held on the trail and AHCA events conducted in a field arena. Four competitions in total were held for both associations with ribbons, prizes and cash being awarded to participants in first through sixth place. The participants were vastly diverse from a variety of backgrounds, ages, horse breeds and disciplines. Competitors included those of extensive levels of experience, to those who were competing over obstacles for the first time.

The primary purpose of the event was to enable riders of such diversity an opportunity to try new things, experience new sports, and to share their enthusiasm for horsemanship. What a grand success!

WARRIORS GAUNTLET
