2019 Young Riders
Would you like to help? We are searching for items that the young riders would be able to raffle to help raise funds such as a saddle, tack, a well-bred horse? We are open to ideas. Please donate if you have the means. If interested, please contact the AERC office.
And of course, all are welcome at the 2019 Gator Run Benefit ride on February 15 and 16 in the Goethe State Park, near Dunnellon, Florida, with a 25/50 each day. Each entry benefits the exchange program.
For information about AERC, visit www.AERC.org or phone the national office at 866-271-2372.
Kimmy Cates, 19, from Florida
Madison MacPhail, 19, from California
Shelby Moucha, 19, from Ohio
two years ago she experienced the loss of her “heart
horse” due to a terrible pasture accident. Through the help
of her endurance family she was able to move on and
return back to the sport that she loved. Her college studies
are in animal science/pre-veterinary medicine with her
ultimate goal being able to graduate from veterinary
school and joining a friend that she currently works with
as an intern in a performance medicine practice. She would
also like to work as an AERC ride veterinarian.
Future exchanges
We are currently reaching out to foreign endurance
organizations that may be interested in participating in an
International Young Rider Exchange. We are open to a
variety of destinations from Australia to England to
Switzerland or wherever you can imagine. It is our vision
that someday AERC could also add an International Senior
Rider Exchange!
