to rescue senior animals and find them loving forever homes. Our hope is to

have a special home for "Bubbles’ Old Friends”.

Bubbles followers continue to follow his Facebook page and support senior

horses that will be rescued in their memory. At Becky’s Hope it costs us

approximately $2,500 a year to care for a senior horse for the remainder of

their life. People can donate to help offer a Gift of Life to "Bubbles’ Old

Friends"

In a world where you can choose to be anything, choose to be kind like

Bubbles.

Bryce O’Donnell

“To me, Bubbles was a beacon for hope and kindness and a constant reminder

that living is sometimes going to be hard, but you can always choose how

you react to things. When you have the choice to be anything you want in

life, be kind”.

Lari McConegly

“In a world where you can be anything - Be Kind”. Bubbles is the physical

embodiment of this saying. We all need to pay a little more attention to those

creatures we share our world with and less to our own wants. Give a little

more and take a little less.

Bubbles showed the world it’s never too late to live and love!! His daily inspiration has helped so many! Bubbles was a senior horse, wise and funny. He wasn’t afraid to ask for what he wanted! We all need that lesson, to live now! He taught me to love and appreciate my animals and human loved ones for who they are right now because tomorrow isn’t promised. He also taught me to never give up on hope and faith for a better future for animals. He found happiness and love with his girl Muffit, and lived a life of love, trust and gusto until the end. I was extremely lucky to be small a part of his life the last few years. I will miss that boy and his funny smile!

As a busy woman with a full-time job, husband and two high school boys, I never imagined that an old gelding with raggedy frostbit ears named Bubbles, would step into my life and change everything! I had considered myself very lucky in life to have discovered Becky’s Hope Horse Rescue (BHHR), a place where I could volunteer on the weekend and reconnect with my childhood passion for horses! Having spent so many years focused on job and family, I had somewhat forgotten who I was as an individual, so my hours of volunteer time at the ranch were a welcome addition to my life. Fast forward insert Bubbles! When Bubbles dodged an inevitable death and secretly hopped a ride on the Freedom Trailer, amidst a group of miniature donkeys, he proved to us all at BHHR that “when you have hope, anything is possible!” Watching the story of Bubbles go viral and then being asked to be his voice in the form of daily posts on his Facebook page, had an impact on my life that I could never have imagined. As the spirit of Bubbles’ character became imprinted on my brain, I found myself actually taking his daily “advice” (his advice in the form of his Facebook posts which I faithfully wrote every evening) and following my own dreams! I dusted off my sketch book and started drawing again. I wrote and illustrated a children’s book called “The Story of Bubbles” as a fundraising opportunity for the Rescue. I took a class in oil painting and found a new passion in life that I never knew existed, all because an old horse named Bubbles gave some much needed advice to “follow your dreams”! Bubbles presence at the ranch will never be forgotten. He brought an unexpected bit of humor and magic and taught us what the true meaning of horse rescue and animal welfare is all about. His legacy of the power of hope and kindness will resonate in my heart for the rest of my days. I will never forget how “just one horse” changed everything in my life! I feel very lucky to have played a role in the story of Bubbles.
