At the age of 5, West lost his legs to a disease sacral agenesis, a genetic disorder that left his lower spine poorly developed and his legs permanently crossed,his legs were removed below the knees when he eight and then when he was 10, they had them amputated to below his pelvis. now you would think, with your two legs completely gone how is he going to continue life? well i have news for you! Mr. west was able to completed an epic 300 km (187 mile) trek on his hands and in his wheelchair from Edmonton to Calgary, Canada in May 2013. Amazing right!?! He not only known for finishing but he also climbed Mount Kilimanjaro on his hands and in his wheelchair back in May 2012. And he has done so many other things, I’d tell you but that would take FOREVER! his list of achievements are completely amazing. Mr West is now currently a international leadership facilitator in countries all around the world. Recently Mr.West finished a tour called We Create Change Tour across Canada in the year 2014.
