Antonio has more than 19 years of experience and is one of the leading educators in the beauty industry. Antonio has created a new culture of hairdressers with his hair cutting approach "We Curve Hair" with the DACurve by Antonio Tarrell authentic curve comb.
Antonio is in constant demand at trade shows and in-salon programs where his progressive teaching approach enables stylists to absorb his techniques quickly and for practical use behind the chair in the salon.
Antonio is a former Artistic Director for Green Acres former owner of Hawaiian Silky in Shannon, MS. Antonio has taught a variety of design and trend sessions to salon professionals from around the world. Antonio is also part of the team DATTE' that he helped co - create.
Antonio Tarrell now has a line of educational and a premium curve comb under his signature name – designed and produced with career enhancing and ergonomic benefits for the stylist in mind.
Antonio graduated from Creation's School of Cosmetology and later from the Natural Healing Arts Of The School Of Massage Therapy both in Tupelo, MS .
Growing up cleaning the floor at his uncle's barbershop in Bruce, Antonio never considered being a hairdresser but a barber. He never knew by becoming a hairdresser that he would make the hair industry as a career choice until he saw his first hair show in Atlanta at the Bronner Bros show— and changed his mind.
Antonio went on to open LaTrend by Antonio and later changed the name to ANTONIO TARRELL making it and his brand a signature name.
