Cheers to Maroon 5, Owl City, and Neon Trees! These three bands and their technical teams put together a show we will never forget! Every single one of the artists in these bands is so very talented; they really know what it takes to put on a memorable show. Thank you V.I.P Nation for taking great care of us and providing us with a very classy backstage event! We were simply blown away by Adam Levine and Maroon 5’s show at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver BC, Canada. Adam Levine touched everyone’s heart with his. They played almost every song you would have expected– hit after hit. The band members of Maroon 5 are passionate and dedicated about what they do, and it was clear to all those who watched this show by the way they rocked the house. Dancing and singing to our favorite songs, live with him right in front of us, was a dream come true! SOME FACTS ABOUT MAROON 5 Maroon 5 started out as Kara’s Flowers with Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, and Ryan Dusick in 1989, while they were in high school. After high school the band broke up and the members of Kara’s Flowers went to college. After college they got back together, added James Valentine and renamed the band Maroon 5. A few years after Maroon 5 launched, Ryan D usick, who was the band’s original drummer left in 2006, and was replaced by Matt Flynn. In March of 2012, Jesse Carmichael took a break from playing in the band until the end of the Overexposed Tour. At the start of their Overexposed World Tour, Maroon 5 introduced their newest member of the band, Sam Farrar. Sam helped co-write several songs, plays guitar, backing vocals, and other special effects. Maroon 5’s music awards include 3 Grammy Awards, and is currently nominated for a Juno Award. In 2012 and 2013 they were awarded Favorite Band—People’s Choice Awards. But it was their 2004 World Music Award that really put Maroon 5 back on the map and on top of the music charts—they have been an unstoppable music force and one of the hottest and sought after sounds on the air waves. We look forward to their next album and hearing what magical music sounds and hits they will release next!
