Shopping was as good as shopping gets!
The Soho District was loaded with popular
stores and little hidden boutiques. We had
to be careful to not get lost in it all!
We toured New York on board double decker buses, great way to go! Our adventure
was non-stop. People aren’t kidding when
they say it’s the city that never sleeps!
Times Square is the classic city movie scene, flashing
lights, crowded sidewalks, and lots of honking taxis. No
matter what time of day it is, there’s always people out
and about. This is definitely the heart of the city.
Grand Central Station is an underground
city. It is lined with chandeliers and the
artwork painted on the ceilings is beautiful! If you ignore the Apple Store in the
corner, you might almost feel you travelled
back in time to the 40’s and 50’s.
We went to the top of the Empire State building at night! We
walked up 5 flights of stairs and stood in two long lines at
the elevators. It was worth the wait! The view of the twinkling
city lights that filled the skyline was truly breathtaking, we’ve
never seen such a beautiful sight.
