A Quick-Service lunch is included with the Keys to the Kingdom tour . To save time , you ’ ll order your lunch during check-in . Where you will dine and what you will eat can vary . Some guests have dined at Columbia Harbor House , others at Tomorrowland Terrace , and others at Pecos Bills .
It ’ s no secret that guests on the Keys to the Kingdom tour venture down into the Utilidors . The underground tunnel system , which is actually the first floor of the park , houses much of the Magic Kingdom ’ s inner workings .
In fact , seeing the Utilidors is the main reason many people take this particular tour . While the tour does take you down there , it ’ s not until near the very end .
Descending into the Utilidors is definitely fascinating , but there is so much more to the Keys to the Kingdom than just those tunnels . You may find , like I did , that stepping into the Utilidors wasn ’ t even the best part !
Have no fear : I ’ m not going to really spoil anything , but I will mention some things we experienced on our tour . However , if you really want to go into this tour blind to what you ’ ll encounter , stop reading now . If you ’ re all in and are still with me , be advised , the things we did on our tour may not be what you do on yours . Experiences vary .
A NEW WAY TO SEE THE CLASSICS As your tour begins with a walk up Main Street , your guide will point to some windows that celebrate various Cast Members and will tell stories and share fun facts about Walt . If you are a Disney history buff , you may know most of these already , but even I walked away with some newfound knowledge . The rest of the tour can vary ; the following tells of my personal experience .
We went on two attractions : Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion . Our guide gathered us in front of each attraction to share some background before using VIP access to board .
Here ’ s where those headsets really came in handy . During the rides , our guide pointed out attraction details and shared some insider information . How things work , how something isn ’ t exactly what it seems , how the Imagineers created an effect , and how important the attractions were to Walt .
