In order to make sure the print edition was something our audience was interested in , we spent all of 2018 generating buzz , surveying our customers , and testing out processes and creative concepts to make sure everything was perfect for our launch . That summer and fall , we offered a three-issue print trial to see if this was a product that people would love . Lucky for us , they did , and the rest is history .
THE WDW MAGAZINE TEAM As we dive into the specifics about how each issue comes together , I want to introduce you to our often-behind-thescenes heroes : our amazing team !
Some of us you may know from our emails or hosting social media content , or if
you ’ re a really big fan , you might follow our writers and photographers on their own sites and channels ( we have bios and links at the end of our digital edition and online at wdw-magazine . com / meet-theteam ). But even if you know us , you may not realize how much we all work together (“ we swim together ” ... anybody ?) to bring life to each issue .
Most of our subscribers have their very first interaction with us on social media ( shout out to Tatjana , Aly , Tina , Sara , and Julie !) or find something interesting to read on our blog ( thanks to Rain , Kurdt , and bloggers like Esther , Thomas , Britta , Kelli , Allyson , Meghan , Evelyn , and Caitlin ). They might subscribe to our newsletter or subscribe to social channels or podcast .
Our social moderators ( hi , Greg , Carolyn , and Patti !) help us to keep our community a safe , positive , Disney-loving space where our followers can breathe a sign of relief as they escape the everyday world to visit their happy place .
