There have also been some fun holiday additions to the afternoon parades , like characters dressed as pilgrims and Native Americans representing the first Thanksgiving . Even the Presidential-pardoned turkeys appeared as Grand Marshalls for a few years from 2007 to 2010 .
A MAGICAL FEAST Probably more than any other American holiday ,
Thanksgiving is completely centered on food . It ’ s hard to find an American who doesn ’ t dream about their Thanksgiving dinner at some point , so where to gobble it up at Walt Disney World is a common question .
