DO Rope Drop Slinky Dog Dash At the park ’ s busiest , Slinky Dog Dash ’ s queue has stretched for as long as 5 hours ; we ’ re talking Figment popcorn bucket-level lines . And who has time to stand in line for 5 hours when there ’ s so much more awesome stuff you could be doing in Hollywood Studios ? Plan to rope drop this ride to get it done before the crowds come ; if you can ’ t , enter through the Lightning Lane with Genie +.
DON ’ T Forget Your Sunscreen There ’ s not a lot of shade in Toy Story Land ( regular-sized trees next to massive toys would break the illusion ), so if you ’ re planning to visit on a sunny day , make sure you ’ re fully covered with sunscreen and wear a sun hat . If you ’ re particularly prone to burning , consider visiting Toy Story Land earlier in the day or later in the evening before closing to avoid the unyielding heat of the Florida sun .
DO Enter from Batuu One of the awesome things about Disney is how well thought out each park is . When entering Toy Story Land ( unless you ’ re rope dropping ), plan on coming from Star Wars : Galaxy ’ s Edge . That way , as you depart the planet Batuu , the first thing you ’ ll see will be Buzz Lightyear himself , continuing the space theme as you gradually adjust to the gigantic world of Toy Story .
