Disney Imagineers an opportunity to bring together a super-team of fabulous franchises and create a world of fun for kids of all ages .
Some of the attractions are for kids who are bigger and bolder than others , but only the Incredicoaster comes with a height restriction ( 48 ” and up ), as well as a need for speed and a willingness to spend some time well and truly upsidedown . If that describes you , then you might be ready to help the “ whole family of supers ” catch up with a haywire Baby Jack-Jack . This attraction , formerly known as California Screamin ’, may be themed in the style of an old-school wooden roller coaster , but don ’ t be fooled : It ’ s an LIM ( Linear Induction Motor ) launch steel coaster with a top speed of 55 mph . This ride is seriously fast and , for “ kids ” with a sense of adventure , seriously fun .

Not everything at Pixar Pier is holding out for a superhero . Some attractions just want to play . In addition to Toy Story Midway Mania !, the OG Pixar franchise is represented by Jessie ’ s Critter Carousel , a gentle and joyous merry-go-round in which America ’ s favorite yodelin ’ cowgirl rounds up a crew of cartoonish critters , all set to the theme song you never knew she needed . Watch out for those skunks !
